Itinerary
Morning at Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, followed by the thousand vermillion gates of Fushimi Inari — we walk the lower loop, the most photogenic stretch. After lunch the coach continues to Nara: Todai-ji temple and its 15-metre bronze Great Buddha, then free time in Nara Park among the famously polite bowing deer before returning in the early evening.
